NWSL Week 8: Summah Soccah

"I'll be watching, 'cause I've got a sprained ankle."

It's week 8. Boston needs points. Boston needs goals. They'll have to do it without Kristie Mewis, who popped onto the injury list as "out" on Thursday afternoon with a sprained ankle. The Breakers haven't won a road game since 2014, and they don't play in Boston again in June. Something has to give. A very good Washington Spirit side won't be easy to keep down.

Elsewhere, the various national team players should be back and ready to go, if a bit tired (and maybe a bit jet-lagged, depending on where they call home).

My predictions were weak last time. 2 and 2, with one game called. Totals: 9 and 19. Probably should just give up.

Watch every game, all weekend long, live on YouTube.
