NWSL Week 15: Last Week 'till Rio!

This was two weeks ago. Two of these players are no longer Breakers.

This was two weeks ago. Two of these players are no longer Breakers.

With the USWNT getting ready to start the Olympic soccer tournament next week, it's the final week of NWSL action before a protracted break. I've got a busy day, so no pithy write-up this morning. Sorry! Don't worry, the busy day is all for you anyway. All will be revealed very soon.

Here's the week 15 matchups and how to watch 'em:

Sky Blue FC at Washington Spirit

Saturday at 7:00PM Eastern WAS RAINED OUT!

Scroll down for a lovely new link!

Bold Prediction: Sky Blue continues to improve as the Spirit miss their internationals. 2-1 Jersey Girls.

FC Kansas City at Chicago Red Stars

Saturday at 8:00PM Eastern

Bold Prediction: I'm torn. So, draw. 1-1.

WNY Flash at Houston Dash

Saturday at 8:30PM Eastern

Bold Prediction: All Flash, all the time. 3-1 Flash. At least Houston's fans have lots of beer in the stadium to enjoy.

Seattle Reign at Portland Thorns

Saturday at 10:30PM Eastern

Bold Prediction: Things could get ugly, but I sniff a narrow upset. 2-1 Reign. Maybe.

Sky Blue FC at Washington Spirit

RESCHEDULED to Sunday at 11:00AM Eastern. Yes, Really!

I've been all kind of wrong on these Bold Predictions this weekend, but I'll stick with 2-1 Sky Blue. And probably be wrong. Again. As long as I get the last match of the weekend correct, I'll be happy.

Orlando Pride at Boston Breakers

Sunday at 6:00PM Eastern

Bold Prediction: Bud Light will be on site at this sellout game. Natasha Dowie and Ghoutia Karchouni should debut. Dowie previously scored 13 goals in 14 matches for Matt Beard at Liverpool, and I think she gets off to a good start in New England as well. Plus, Boston will be pumped up after the debacle they suffered at Orlando a few weeks ago. 3-2 Breakers.
